At West Coast Woodworking & Laser Art, we take pride in creating quality, handcrafted and personalized gifts. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase.
Personalized & Custom-Made Products
Because many of our products are personalized or made specifically for you, customized and personalized items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.
This includes products featuring custom names, dates, photographs, messages, logos, or other customer-requested personalization.
If we have made an error with your order, or your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us so we can make it right.
Non-Personalized Products
We accept return requests for eligible, non-personalized products within 14 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused and in their original condition.
- Items must be returned with their original packaging where possible.
- Proof of purchase is required.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Please contact us before returning any merchandise so we can provide instructions.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days of delivery.
Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs if available.
We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate replacement, repair, or refund.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the refund decision.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, generally within 10 business days of approval. Your bank or credit card provider may require additional processing time.
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
Exchanges
For eligible non-personalized products, please contact us to discuss an exchange.
Personalized products cannot be exchanged for a different design, name, or customization due to a customer ordering error.
Handmade Product Variations
Many of our products are crafted using natural wood, slate, and other materials.
Natural variations in wood grain, colour, texture, and engraving appearance are part of the character of these materials and are not considered defects.
Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.
